You are a Badass
How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life
Jen Sincero
I have to be honest that the beginning of the book was not appealing to me; “there will be a roomful of narcissists then,” I was thinking. It feels like the book is like an energy bar boosting me emotionally, but at the core of my mind, I could not understand its logic.
.
Or maybe there is no logic here at all. It is beliefs. the more I go deeper into her content—connecting all past experiences, resentments, regrets, doubts, the more I feel the responsibility to myself, my only existing self. The book teaches me about the invisible power of sincere belief & self-love.
.
Love yourself. Never apologize for who you are. And one significant point: Sincerely believe that desires resources are available everywhere, abundant!
.
My top-priority change after this?
Is to stop apologizing to absurd things just to please others.
