12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School

John Medina

I have a brain. You have a brain. We all indeed have a brain, but do not know so much about it though brain dictates our every day’s activities and dominantly influences our attitudes and behaviours. I think it is a waste. Living in the age of science, I believe it is such a privilege, as well as an exciting experience, to learn about one of the most complex and mysteriously wired pieces of our physical body.

I found myself actively moderating some of my daily habits to better benefit from brainpower. I am still a novice, but statistical evidence and solid scientific researches have taught me a lot. The book is interesting, simple and covers a relatively wide range of topics.
